Hello, I am the founder of MLove Life, Melissa Leslie.  Many of you know me from my Art, Clothing line and online magazine.  I started MLove Life about mid summer of 2009 as the Lord was revealing the depth of the corrupt health care that has poisoned most American minds.

The reason for starting began for my own health reasons.  I was modeling on the side still at the time and had been getting blemishes. As a model you can see why this would conflict my shoots.  Not long before the minor issue became a larger problem I was taking antibiotics and topical creams for the problem for almost 6 years.  I wanted to get off the man-made products and see if my body was done with that stage but to my surprise it was not.

But there is no such thing as problems, only solutions!

Visiting dermatologists and receiving consultations got me everything from more antibiotics to laser treatments.  Not one gave me the underlying reason for it nor did they say eating healthy was the answer.  I knew there was some existential funk in the health industry and I was going to get to the bottom of it!

As my research and cross referencing online and in the library became more and more intense, I uncovered the roots of an array of diseases, cancers, headaches, etc… I mean the health issues were endless! I found the core of it all was based on the pH levels of the body and what foods boost the immunity in alkalinity and acidity.  I found out what organs are directly linked to the skin and what caused acne.  I then learned of what nutrients these organs needed and then researched the foods that contained them.  Then my beautiful husband who supports me in everything righteous bought me my first juicer and I began my juicing fast! I knew I was on the right road to health!

People were naturally draw to my hair and nails and asked health information about many other issues they were having. You could find me saving information and writing my own editorials in which I would print for those around me. I jumped into all the raw foodists movements and listened to many YouTube videos to hear the testimonies, recipes and how much raw food cures diseases as well as boosts the energy in the body as a whole. God did not just give me all this information for my own health but those around me as well.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

And you can see it daily just look at those around you. He was revealing to me what the media and health industry were doing to His people and the heaviness of it all sat on my spiritual heart.

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

God wants you to be healed don’t accept anything less!

God had blessed me with a thorn in my flesh in which I happily carry.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10 ⁷To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. ⁸Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. ⁹But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. ¹⁰That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

The further the Lord led me to answers the more I realized a lot of our healing has to start with the way we think, furthermore what do we listen to and see on the daily that makes us think the way we do and how it directly pierces the spirit?  In conjunction with that is what do we speak and how do our actions follow?

At this point I was creating small pamphlets for close friends and family of my findings. This soon turned into small books which prompted me to start this site and currently led me to write my book on the ongoing research for our fullest potential in health.  I agree being healthy will not add another day to your life but it will restore the energy you were meant to have on this journey we call life and that has a part to play in living life in abundance!

In this site I hope to point fans and new friends alike in the right direction of health in the mind, body and spirit the way God intended.  He has left us with everything our bodies need and we can rest in His word that by His stripes we are healed!  My intentions are that this site will bless you with the plethora of information the Lord has unveiled to me through my prayers and obedience to Him.
