Bitter Sweet
Posted by MLove Jan12

Bitter sweet is what this unnatural substance we call sugar is.

Sugar wreaks so much havoc it is amazing that it is still out in the market in such vast quantities and even more disturbing that it is in most children foods from cereal to ‘fruit’ juices.

The human body can not even break down the concentrated unnatural substance with the quantities the the average American consumes.

The potential nutrients sugar (from sugar cane or beets) has is stripped away during the industrial processes degrading it to pure sucrose. What sugar might have contained in vitamins, minerals, proteins, enzymes and other beneficial nutrients is now what the majority ingests today.

Back in the day, Greeks who had a word for everything did not even have a word for sugar!

Similarities of Sugar and Heroin

Did you know that sugar and heroin are processed and refined in a very similar manner?

Sugar and heroin are derived by a very comparable method of refinement.

In creating heroin, opium is first drawn from the poppy. Then the opium is processed into morphine. The chemists then went to work on morphine and further processed it into heroin. In this discovery they  proclaimed they had created a fantastic new pain-killer that was non-addictive.

Likewise,  sugar is first pressed as a juice from the beet or cane and broken down into molasses. Later, it is refined into brown sugar, and finally into strange white crystals C12H22O which are foreign to the human body.

Now combine all this info with a suckling sugar induced milk.  Mothers that consume sugar also pass it on in the milk for their newborn children.  That means that the addiction to sugar is set early on.  Sugar can become very addictive especially with it at our every whim.  Most people form a insatiable craving for sugar and few discover the plethora of more nutritious and deliciously sweet alternatives out there.

Sneaky Sugar!

Years before it devastates your pancreas, your adrenal glands, throwing the whole endocrine system out of whack, sugar/sucrose is steadily breaking down the life systems in your body before showing any symptoms.

Not only is the sugar alone sneaky in our body but the manufacturers of most grocery ‘foods’ are sneaky!  Their strategic insidiousness of sugar placement is outrageous.  They have injected into everything from Gatorade to health bars to cereals, most of which have up to 50% sugar! Foods that are supposed to be healthy for you like yogurt generally have loads of sugar as well as most Asian vegetarian dishes sometime up to 7 tablespoons!

Just about everything in the grocery store contains sugar!
