What is Raw and Living Foods?

Raw and living are definitions that are loosely used when describing the raw food diet.  Raw mainly means not processed in temperatures above 118 degrees.  Living foods are mainly used to define foods that are spouting are are actively alive.  Both of these terms for uncooked fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted grains.  There is also some other foods that fall within this category such as seaweeds, raw carob powder, cold pressed olive oil and spices and seasonings. Best for all of these ingredients are organic and we as consumers are responsible to vote to get our food crops back their original state and that is organically grown.  We can even further have control of the whole, fresh, ripeness by taking initiative to grow our own gardens.  In doing this we take the intimate relationship of planting, raising and harvesting having peace knowing we use no pesticides or organic essential oils for pest control which is safer and healthier for us, our children our soil and air.

What are Raw and Living Food Benefits?

Benefits?!  They are innumerable! Some of these include: Cancer, diabetes, acne, obesity, back pain, asthma, neck pain, joint pain, fibromyalgia, serious allergies, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, colitis, hypoglycemia, candida, depression, anxiety, mood swings, diverticulitis, heartburn, gas, bloating, chronic fatigue, skin diseases and so much more! The raw food diet has surpassed most if not all alternative treatments induced by drugs antibiotics and other medical shenanigans.

Not only does it dissolve most all disease but it brings us to our fullest potential in our appearance from our skin to our hair to the structure of our body to our day to day energy!

If weight loss or more energy is your main concern then this diet couldn’t be more perfect for you!  This is not a trend, it is a lifestyle and a permanent cure for those who are consistent and strong.  It isn’t difficult, just different.

More and more people are throwing out their make-up with a new natural glow blossoming in the bodies of raw foodists.  There have been reports of people who have had their grays turn back to the original color, wrinkles fading, dark circles and bags vanishing, gums tightening, age spots dissolving, acne and blemishes disappearing…What more could you ask for?!

How can I eat so much natural fat and still lose more weight than cooked fats?

There is no comparison when it comes to cooked fats versus raw fats! Research has been done on diseases that clog up the blood and the arteries such as heart attacks, cancers, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, kidney failure, cardiovascular diseases, obesity and more linked to cooked fats.

On the other hand natural fats such as avocados and nuts (rich in antioxidants) promote the joints, nerves and bones.  Unlike cooked fats, raw fats  contain lipase an enzyme that is needed to digest fat. Cooking fats destroy lipase as well as other important enzymes and minerals.

Many people starting this diet eat 2-3 avocados a day, lipase, breaks up the raw plant foods as they are eaten and help to digest the oils in these foods. It will not congest the blood and arteries like cooked fats do.  many people experience the fat from their bodies melt away as they eat the healthy fats provided in raw avocados and nuts.

Will I actually feel full eating a more raw diet?

Yes!  Here is my theory, take it or leave it.  The Standard American Diet (SAD) is full of well ‘air’ and ‘fluff’ lacking vital nutrients our body needs to do it amazing daily regenerating.  So the more ‘fluff ‘you eat the more your body has to search for what it is looking for, becoming hungry faster.  It then signals the stomach to feel hungry again so we can eat and hopefully find the nutrients it is searching for.  If we continue to feed it fluff we continue to feel hungry.  And the vicious cycle of the overfeeding non-conducive foods continues.  During this cycle the body begins to grow more acidic and therefore becoming the perfect breeding grounds for cancerous cells to reproduce causing all sorts of mayhem.

Is raw more healthier than cooked food?

Just take a plate of cooked foods versus a plate of raw foods.  Notice the difference in color and texture?  One dish is dead while the other is alive.  Take the cooked dish to the soil and bury it then take the raw dish to the soil and bury it.  Which one do you think will produce more of itself and which will turn to mold?  Same with vitamins it you plant it what do you get?  It is clear by simple experiments and commonsense that food with vitality in color and life will produce life in the cell and that which is dead will produce death  in the the cell.

I can not stress enough how many people have been completely healed from the simple act of taking responsibility for what they put into their mouths, from switching from cooked foods to raw foods.  One of the absolute amazing things  that happens unlike that which happens in the health care industry is the transformation from deathly ill to healed completely doesn’t take months to years but in some cases weeks or even days!

When eating raw food you allow yourself to enjoy the delicacies of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other life giving substances our bodies require in order to live to our fullest potential.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records (New York: Bantam Books, 2000, p. 263), the person with the highest body temperature who lived to tell about it is Willie Jones. On July 10, 1980, Mr. Jones was admitted to the hospital with heatstroke. His temperature was 115.7oF (46.5oC). After 24 days in the hospital, he was discharged.

Body temperatures above 40 °C (104 °F) are life-threatening. At 41 °C (106 °F), brain death begins, and at 45 °C (113 °F) death is nearly certain. Internal temperatures above 50 °C (122 °F) will cause rigidity in the muscles and certain, immediate death.

Now take this information and do what you will, but as you can see even our own lives depend on a certain temperature to survive.  When foods are heated above 112 degrees important enzymes are destroyed, enzymes that are needed for our day to day functions from breathing to blinking to walking and talking…
