Raw Snackies!

My favorite thing to make is tastey treats in the raw below is just a few of the recipes that will be in my upcoming book!

Fruit Raw Ups!-make 4 roll ups

  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 8 strawberries
  • 1 tbsp yacon syrup-or raw unrefined honey

Blend till smooth. Pour on dehydrator Teflon sheets evenly.  Should be around 1/4in thick and no transparent areas.  Place in dehydrator. Set temperature to 115 and leave for 8-11 hours.  Take out, peel off sheets and place on wax paper and roll up!  Then cut in half as many times as you like for quick snack convenience!

Dreamy Walnut Butter-Omega 3 boost

How can you eat a celery stick without ranch or without sugary peanut butter?  I know!  A nice nut butter will do! I absoluely love walnuts and they make a delectable butter.  Walnuts are known for their high content of omega 3 fatty acids! You can use any raw nut you like, but for this recipe,  I will use walnuts:

  • Pour a cup of walnuts in your high speed blender
  • Add a teaspoon of celtic sea salt
  • Add a large tablespoon of raw unheated, unrefined honey
  • Add 1/4 cup of coconut oil, sunflower seed oil or olive oil-depending on your taste. Stick with the cold pressed, unheated, untreated un-abused oils ;)
  • Blend till creamy-pour in container
  • Spread on your apple slices, celery sticks or raw dehydrated crackers and Enjoy!
